In The Bible we read of a man who was #1, very greedy, and #2, thought he had his whole life ahead of him to continue in his greed.
But Jesus taught a lesson to demonstrate how these two things are both eternally wrong and dangerous.
Jesus said: But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you prepared for yourself? This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”
