Agreement in prayer.

‘Something To Think About’ B101.5FM Radio Message – 3/20/16

“Put a little Windex on it.” I love the father in the movie “My big fat Greek wedding.” His cure all for EVERYTHING, is just to spray a little Windex on it. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if it really worked?

The truth is, we have some issues in this life, that no amount of Windex, or Hollywood entertainment in the world is ever going to fix or solve. But God teaches us that if we can get two people to agree in prayer about ANYTHING on earth, it shall be done for them. Now this may at first seem like an easy task, but is it really? Take a look at the divisiveness in our Nation today. Split down the middle on so many things. From there, look at the amount of division that exists within many of our homes, schools, business and corporate environments, the market place, even the Churches in America. [God help us].

The only concrete way to get people in true and genuine agreement, is to be in a relationship with those who wholeheartedly agree upon God’s word. The wisdom of God cuts through all earthly limitations. It pierces through emotions, political correctness, bias, and the leanings of culture, etc., and opens up the divine pages of perfect clarity and perfect truth. That’s not to say that there is not debate over certain theological issues in the Bible, because there is. But these debates will not and should not find their way into the prayers we need to place before God, in agreement with others in behalf of our children, families, health, finances, relationships, etc.

Whatever you may be facing in life, from a difficulty, to an emergency, to a need for a miracle, or the necessary breakthrough in an endeavor, find, call, or contact a true believer in God’s Holy Word– and Pray!

“Again I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for; it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven.” [Matthew 18:20]
