Music is a powerful thing – and so are our thoughts. It can bring us to a place of joy and gladness, or, it can lead us down the path of sadness, anger, even chaos.

David was a songwriter and he fully understood the impact that his words and music would have on people. 

He especially knew how important it was to keep his own heart focused on the Lord.

This is why he wrote: ‘My heart is overflowing with a Good Theme’ [Psalm 45]

You see – When we are in a relationship with God – even though there are things that surround us that are heavy or negative – the Theme of our thoughts will always be – Good!
