God never said that those who believe in Him would never have hardship or difficulties in this life. What He did tell us however, is that in the midst of these things, He is with us, and, He has drawn a line so they can only go so far.

He said: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

Amen!
