“Think On These Things” B101.5FM Radio Message 6/21/19

Are you having a hard time getting going this morning? Are you feeling today that all the coffee, double shots of expresso, multiple hour promising energy drinks, and juicing in the world, just can’t seem to lift the fog? Are you maybe even weighed down or a bit sad about something? Many times, even though we have slept well, the day to day responsibilities can produce a stress in the mind that causes a feeling of fatigue and heaviness. And you can almost double this feeling if your ‘not’ sleeping well. It will be great to try and get some sleep tonight, but what about now? After all, the day has begun, and your either at, or on your way to work.

The only way to overcome this morning dilemma and get a true dose of inner strength, focus, and momentum, is to get ahold of the One who lives above the fog. Even now – Ask God to come into your life, into your morning, even your entire day. These are times when you will find that only the realm of the supernatural can give us the victory and vitality we need to press forward and achieve our objectives for the day. Some, sadly, resort to drugs and other massively unhealthy alternatives, which only adds greater stress, fatigue, and worse. But there is absolutely nothing that pierces through and lifts the fog – like the unfailing love and bright sunshine – of the power and presence of Living God! Simply put, Praise Him in your heart. That will melt any fog from coast to coast!

It is important to realize that God cares about us in every conceivable (and inconceivable), way. He cares about how you feel, physically, emotionally, spiritually, yes, even if it is the feelings of fatigue, and what some would call just being in ‘the funk’. And, He wants us to learn that it is ok to reach out to Him in this, and all other areas. This is how a relationship develops and deepens. We find that God does not restrict our ability to reach out, or cry out to Him, only for the so called ‘more important’ issues. What is most important to God, is our experiencing His love, and His beautiful and perfect will for our lives.

I love coffee, but I have found working 12-18 hours a day, there is nothing greater to keep my heart beating, and my blood pumping with joy, strength, and exhilaration, than the divine presence and power of God operating in my life.

‘From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is to be praised.’ [Psalm 113;3]

Remember that God’s Love Never Fails!
