There are many people who wear masks for one reason or another. I’m not speaking of the scary ‘Halloween’ masks, although they’re horrible enough.
I’m speaking to those masks that are worn to present a personality that is opposite of the person wearing it. The trouble about wearing this type of mask is that we are not truly being ourselves.
Hiding behind a mask may seem like a safer place, but it’s certainly a much lonelier place to be.
