‘Something To Think About’ B101.5FM Radio Message 4/22/2016

A Sunday school teacher once asked a young student, “What do you know about faith in God” The student replied, “Not Much, but I think I know a little.” “Why is that” the teacher asked? “Because I don’t always know where God is leading me’, said the young man, ‘But I do know I love and trust God, so wherever He leads me, That’s where I’m gonna’ go.”

That student knew more about faith than he realized.

What are your thoughts concerning faith? This student didn’t give much thought to the actual ‘word’ faith, or if he did, he obviously felt that he was minoring in the subject. But without doubt, he had given a lot of thought to His love for God and his trust in Him. Amazing, but he just received an A+++++ in faith.

There are many many scriptures that point to faith, its power, its importance, and its vital necessity in our lives. But in every instance, the blessing and instruction in faith is flowing out of the heart of the Living God who loves us with an immeasurable and unfailing love.

I could stack this entire site with these scriptures on faith, and each and every one of them would enrich your life abundantly, constantly, and supernaturally. But there is something that brings faith to its highest potential impact and expression in our lives, and that is knowing of God’s love for us, accepting it, and then returning our love back to Him. Here is the scripture that will genuinely produce the blessing of faith and all of it’s benefits in our lives.

“Love the Lord your God with all of our heart and with all of your soul, and with all of your strength, and with all of your mind, this is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” [Matthew 22: 37-39].

The greatest benefit of faith, is a deeper and more loving relationship with Jesus!
