“Something To Think About” B101.5FM Radio Message 12-23-16

Everyone seeks contentment, yet it seems to be so elusive. Why is this?

Contentment and fulfillment are sought in so many streams. Many feel it’s found in the stream of wealth – but God tells us “There are those who make themselves rich yet have nothing – and those who make themselves poor – yet are rich” [Proverbs 13:7]. This wealth speaks of the blessing of a relationship with God which produces true inner peace, a loving family, the favor and blessing of God, just to name a few – not to mention eternal treasure waiting in heaven which is being multiplied through giving and serving.

Without a relationship with God, whether you are poor or rich, both will saturate your life with discontentment. I have known people on the extreme sides of these two spectrum’s, as well as many in the middle, and I can attest to the undeniable fact that this is, and continues to be, true.

We’ve all been created in the image of God, not the image of the world. If we look to the world to find contentment, we will come up empty every time. Only by seeking God and His ways – can we ever find the true and everlasting contentment.

If you deal with feelings of emptiness, un-fulfillment, and discontentment, Go to your Creator. He knows exactly how you are wired, and he knows exactly what you need. From His heart, you will receive the answer to ALL of your questions, and – your true smile,

“In His Presence – is the fullness of Joy.”
