“Something To Think About” B101.5FM Radio Message 12/14/16

It’s been said that God is great in the great things – but even greater in the little things. Do you believe that the God who named and numbered all the stars of unending universes – knows you by name? He does –and He wants you to enjoy and experience a full and abundant life.

God is great enough to help you in the little things– and the big things of your life. One of the most beautiful and practical expressions of God’s word is the activity of the Lord in major things and moments in the lives of people, as well as His activity and involvement in the seemingly, very normal things in peoples lives. And wonderfully enough, He is fully loving, caring, and powerful in each occurrence.

Sadly, there are many who only know of God, or about God, from a distance. Click To Tweet

The same God that parted the red sea for Moses and the people, is the same God that provided daily food and water for them. The same God that sent down fire for the prophet Elijah to do battle against violence and evil on Mount Carmel, is the same God that fed Elijah his daily food by using ravens, as he sat by a little running brook. The Same Jesus who released the miracle catch of fish for Peter and his partners is the same Jesus who “cooked fish” for Peter and the disciples in the resurrection. Our God is an amazing, loving and wonderful God!

Without doubt, we have a personal God and heavenly Father who is interested and cares, for every aspect of our lives. Sadly, there are many who only know of God, or about God from a distance. But Jesus shed His blood on the cross so that we can all know Him personally. As we draw closer to God, we find that He is also drawing ever closer to us. He doesn’t “force” His way into our lives, but gently knocks every day on the door of our hearts, giving us the opportunity to be in daily fellowship with Him. WOW – That is an amazing reality!

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” [James 4:8]

“Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in..” [Revelation 3:20].

The more we are willing to share the big things and the little things with God and include Him in our daily lives, the greater our life experience will be on every conceivable, and inconceivable level. But most importantly – to God –You – are the biggest thing in your life – and He loves you with an unending love!

The greatest decision in human life is to invite Him into your heart. He is knocking at the door right now. Why not let Him in and let Him open great doors in your life. Let God’s Greatness – make every aspect of your life – great!
