There are many roots in this world. There is ginger root, tree roots – root canals (ouch) – and route 66.

But the most dangerous, hurtful and poisonous root of all – is the root of bitterness.

God’s word tells us this root springs up and hurts many people.

Bitterness is a terrible thing – and it can creep into any of our hearts.

If there’s bitterness in your life – and you want it out – ask God to place His loving hand into your heart and pull that bitterness out by the root.

Then – He can replant the seeds of joy, peace and freedom.
