Don’t let fear ‘interfere’ with the things you want to accomplish, experience and enjoy in this life.

FEAR, is one of the great enemies of the Christian life. Fear of trying, fear of heights, fear of water, fear of loving, fear of giving, fear of living, fear of bills, fear of dreaming, fear of failing, fear of the future, and the list goes on and on. Sadly, everyone everywhere, in some way, is afraid of something. How could I forget to add snakes and spiders to that list?

Now, without doubt, we have to be very careful and cautious in life and keep our eyes open and watch our steps. Like that great Petra song “Life is a minefield.”

But here is what it really all boils down to. If you want to do something– God can help you do it. If you want to overcome something, God has the power to help you overcome it. If you want to see or go to a certain place in America or around the world – God can help you get there.

All things are possible with God, so, never let fear – of anything – keep you from living a blessed and joyful life. With the power of God’s love, and the daily leading of His Holy Spirit, we should never let fear – inter-‘fere’- with anything! The more of a relationship you have with God, or the more you are growing in a relationship with Him, the more real, actual and absolute this becomes in our lives.

God loves you – and perfect love casts out all fear. (See 1 John 4:18).
