‘Something To Think About’ B101.5FM Radio Message 5/26/16

Bless the elderly.

Recently I visited a nursing home and medical rehab center to pray for a friend. Of course, while there, I saw many elderly folks who were very sad, despondent and lonely. I was glad we were able to bring some joy into their lives that day.

Please remember to keep our elderly folks in mind, in your hearts, and in your prayers.

Maybe you could plan a visit to bring some love and just some good old fashioned laughter and friendship. Or perhaps place a call to an elderly loved one. If we can make a positive difference in someone’s life, we should.

What an amazing difference a little bit of attention will make. I’ve seen it happen with my own eyes over and over again because God’s Love never fails. It will certainly be a tremendous source of strength and blessing to them, and God will bless you mightily.

  1. That was a beautiful message about visiting the elderly!!!I also have seen the sad looks in the eyes of the elderly! You brought tears to my eyes with this message! Many families have to make a hard decision to place their loved ones at a nursing facility! And then others have no family that visit them and I believe this causes them to feel despondent! Please be bold and visit the elderly with God’s love in your heart, He will bring them cheer through you!
