The Loch Ness Monster – Big Foot – The Abominable Snowman –

It’s truly amazing how people are so curious and want so badly to believe that these strange things actually exist. Have you ever thought about the time, money and effort that has been spent trying to find them, and prove they are real? And even if they did – now what? Ok Great, now you have an ape, a fish, and a snowman that bites. Wonderful! But not real helpful! Maybe put them in a zoo, or aquarium somewhere and let them become theme park attractions. How does that help or bless humanity? Well, it will certainly swell some folks bank accounts, that’s for sure.

Now, just for a moment, think of how blessed people’s lives would be if they went after God with that kind of desire and enthusiasm. And best of all – it takes no money – He does in fact exist – and – He doesn’t bite!

“As the dear pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.” [Psalm 43:1]

God daily waits for those who will take the time and seek Him. He longs to reveal His love, comfort, grace, blessing and peace. When we look to the cross, we do not see fantasy, myth, legend, or the cunning schemes of men intended for monetary gain. Instead, we see the ultimate expression of love with outstretched arms, reaching to all who will open up their hearts. Jesus made it possible for all of us, to finally be free of the myths and fantasies of this earth, and the cunning, worldly minds of men. He who is perfect truth came to reveal to all of us, once and for all, all that is perfectly real, and perfectly eternal.

In fact, His truth even conquered the inevitable sting and horror of death:

Jesus said to her,” am the the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even if he dies.” [John 11:25]

Life is precious! There is no better way to “spend” your time, than spending it on seeking the Lord and experiencing all that He has for us in this life – and in the life to come.

“Jesus. I believe in You, come into my life with all of Your truth, and set me free.”
